Time to Celebrate!

Independence Day, often called the Fourth of July, is a time for our country to celebrate!
Many of us will celebrate with family and friends over barbeque or other hearty fare and will enjoy a nice show of fireworks.
Fireworks, I have learned, have long been associated with showing pride and patriotism dating back to the 12th century in China, and then becoming popular with European monarchs in the 15th century to celebrate triumphs, peace, and even their own birthdays.
And even though we celebrate our independence from Great Britain July 4, our Second Continental Congress voted in favor of Independence on July 2 when they approved a Resolution of Independence. It was on July 4 that the Declaration of Independence, explaining this decision, was signed and ratified.
So this 4th of July, we hope you will take time to kick-back and celebrate our country's freedom to govern itself.
TCF Sales will be closed in observation of Independence Day on July 3 and July 4, but will reopen July 5th.
